What Am I Supposed To Be Doing?

“You’re always on a mission. You’re life always has a mission statement. You don’t have to wonder, ‘What am I supposed to be doing?’ Well, you know what you’re supposed to be doing: You’re called to make disciples…but, as you are making disciples, God’s going to lead you into a vocation, God’s going to lead you to a mate, to a geographical area to live. The problem is we start looking at these things first, and we lose our focus.  ‘Seek first’ what?…the Kingdom of God, and the Lord will add all these things.

Now, what are we supposed to seek second? There’s nothing listed second. Seek first and only God’s Kingdom. Let Him add all these things. You can’t seek God’s Kingdom second, there is no second with God. It’s either first or not at all. And that’s His point here. You’re always on a mission locally. You’re always looking for opportunities to share, to disciple, to learn. You are looking at the world. You are a world Christian. You can see the world through the eyes of God.”
